This is a place to keep notes about what's happening at White Rock, Delta 2, Harrison Mills and Lafarge while we wait for the Hancock Wildlife site to be back on line.

Wow - you definitely found someone, Darlene! Can't tell if she's a bit dark around the eyes or if it's the distance and the light - I'm guessing distance and light, because it comes and goes in the back of the head, too.
Added - I'm afraid only admins can attach pictures here, and I don't do it often, but though it might be helpful to have a picture of this adult for comparison, since she may be spending time in the neighborhood.

Heard some trilling while the cam was watching the adult on the perch - and I don't think that adult was trilling. Perched adult is looking around now.
I'm hearing two voices and not seeing that beak move - unless she's a ventriloquist?
2:32 pm
Perched adult is doing some preening - doesn't seem especially concerned.

I don't think it is Ma after looking at her close up. Does look like a big female though.
